Oryx Insurance Opens Education Center

Oryx Insurance Brokerage Inc., a program manager, managing general underwriter, wholesale broker and risk management consultant, has opened a training facility for agents and customers called the Oryx Insurance Education Center.
An OSHA 10Hr Construction class, being held later this week, will be the first course to kick off the center.  This course is one of more than 40 classes and events that will be held throughout the year. Course specific information can be found here.

Thomas A. Pasquale, President and CEO for Oryx said with the opening of the Education Center, “We are excited about the courses we have put together for the inaugural year of our education center. We have partnered with an outstanding group of safety professionals who have years of field experience. This firsthand experience will be integrated into their training and provide attendees real life examples on construction specific topics.”

This state of the art facility located in Oryx’s Syracuse office will host a wide range of training topics covering not only OSHA 10Hr/30Hr General and Construction, but also several agent “Lunch & Learns”.  The “Lunch & Learns” will cover many current industry trending topics, such as NY State Labor Law, Return to Work and Effective Enforcement of Drug Testing.
